BETHLEHEM, PA (IMMEDIATE RELEASE) – In 2010, going tax free by converting to a Roth IRA for your retirement could save thousands of dollars during your golden years, say financial experts across the board pointing to federal and state taxes that are likely to increase.
In 2010, adjustments in code changes means those earning $100,000 and up can convert from a traditional IRA to a tax- free Roth IRA, according to Bernadette Holland, a certified financial planner with 17 years experience, and vice president of the Holland Group, Janney Montgomery Scott, Bethlehem, PA.
“If you wish to alter one facet of your investment portfolio, 2010 will be the year to do it,” says Holland, who along with financial consultant, Amy Villani are hosting four free seminars on the tax free advantages of converting to a Roth IRA,
Informational seminars on the pro’s and con’s of converting to a Roth IRA are being held Tuesday, November 10, at 8:30 a.m., or 5:30 p.m., or Thursday, November 12, 8:30 a.m. or 5:30 p.m., The Holland Group, Janney Montgomery Scott, One East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA.
The seminars target 55 and up individuals whose annual earnings are more than $100,000, says Holland.
